Games & NES / Nintendo

The classics most often named are Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man 2, Castlevania, Punch-Out!!, Kirby's Adventure, Contra and Final Fantasy. They are also the most requested titles in store. These titles are regularly available in inventory: browse the collection online to see what is in stock right now.

Some NES games have become extremely rare, particularly limited runs, contest prizes and titles released in very small quantities at the end of the console's life. Their value depends mostly on the condition of the label and on whether the game is complete, with its box and manual. If you think you have a rare piece, our team can evaluate it free of charge.

The value of a used NES varies with its overall condition, whether it is complete or not and the accessories included (controllers, Zapper, cables, power supply). At Flip Jeux Vidéo, every console is assessed according to its condition and tested to make sure it works properly, which explains the price gaps between two seemingly identical consoles.

There are two things not to confuse. A catalogue of NES games is available on Nintendo Switch through a subscription, but those are digital versions: original NES games do not work on a Switch. To play your own games, you need a real NES console. That is exactly what you will find at Flip Jeux Vidéo, console and original games included.

Yes, as long as you buy from a specialist. NES games are sturdy, but the contacts get dirty over time. At Flip Jeux Vidéo, every game is tested before going on sale and all our items are original: no copies or reproductions are ever sold. All games, consoles and accessories sold at Flip Jeux Vidéo are tested before going on sale and come with a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase, except for used clearance items. The warranty covers the proper working order of the item and entitles you to an exchange or a store credit. Visit our FAQ section to learn more.

Yes! Flip Jeux Vidéo buys back NES consoles, games and compatible accessories, individually or in lots. We also accept games without a box or manual, although condition and what is included affect the offer. Bring them to our Québec store for a quick on-site evaluation, or visit our Sell Your Games page to learn more.
